ORENAIR: PNR migration from R2 to SU

Dear agents, 

JSC «Orenburg airlines» (ORENAIR), a member carrier of Aeroflot Group, informs you about transfer a part of flights to Aeroflot commercial management.

Thus, from December 15, 2014 the tickets for all ORENAIR flights on routes to/from Vnukovo airport (period of flight operation from 15.01.2015 till 28.03.2015) will only be available for purchase at the website of JSC «Aeroflot». Procedures of booking, rules for carriage of baggage and other special services are the same as for own flights of JSC «Aeroflot» for issue of tickets for flights under 100% Aeroflot commercial management (flights under code SU 5000-6999).

The tickets for all flights on routes to/from Vnukovo airport departing before January 15, 2015 are still available at the website of JSC «Orenburg airlines».

In connection with migration of booking on December 29, 30 2014 from system Sirena-2000 to Sabre kindly ask you not to perform any operations with tickets with departure after January 15, 2015 for flights on these dates.

Passengers, who have the tickets with departure date after January 15, 2015, will be automatically transferred to SU flights according to schedule, stated in the early issued tickets for R2 flights.  Information on transfer will be entered as OSI/SSR element in booking. There is no need to do anything with the tickets and PNRs; passengers will be accepted for air carriage on flights under the SU code according to ORENAIR (R2) rules of carriage.

Return/exchange of air tickets for flights till January 15, 2015:

  • It is made according to the Conditions of Fare Application of the applied fare at a place of ticket purchase

Refund/exchange of tickets, providing refund/exchange for flights from January 15, 2015

1. Exchange is prohibited: it is necessary to carry out the refund of the ticket R2 at a place of its purchase and issue the ticket for flights under SU code for new dates;

2. The refund of the tickets issued through ADS «Sirena-Travel» in GDS will be carried out in normal operation.

3. To make the refund of the tickets issued through GDS Amadeus, Galileo, Appolo, Sabre, and in the centre of ticket booking «Sirena-2000» in ONG centre or on the form of airline interline-partner, the agent shall send the letter to e-mail , cc. , with the request to change the status of the coupon to «O», having specified:

  • Number of tickets
  • Routes
  • Passengers full name
  • Agent contact details for information clarification
  • Type of refund: voluntary or involuntary
  • Amount of the sum for the refund, made by the agent to the passenger.

In case if the refund was not made, it is necessary to send the message to the above mentioned addresses to change the status of the ticket.

If the refund is classified as involuntary, it is necessary to attach the documents confirming the possibility to make the involuntary refund.

After confirmation of change of the coupon status, the agent shall make the refund of money to the passenger.

Refund is considered as involuntary in the following cases:

  • flight delay or cancellation;
  • route change by the Airline;
  • off-schedule flight;
  • the Airline is unable to provide passenger with a seat at the flight and on date shown in the ticket;
  • failure to transport Passenger by air as a result of passenger delay in the airport because of long-time screening, if no substances or objects prohibited to transportation were found;
  • if the Airline failed to provide connecting flights;
  • sudden disease or death of Passenger’s family member travelling together with him/her by air, that can be confirmed with doctor’s certificate;*
  • Airline failure to provide Passenger with service indicated in the ticket;
  • sale beyond established standard and other sale failures;
  • reduction of pre-sale ticket quantity or AC replacement for another one with less passenger capacity.

1. Family members are spouses, their children (including adopted), passenger parents or his/her in-laws;

2. Instead of doctor’s certificate in exceptional cases documents given by Emergency Medical Services may be presented. Medical emergency date should concur with flight departure date in the ticket.

Attention:

Tickets on the minimum fares (non refundable fares) available for issuance both in ticket sales agencies of agents, and on the airline site, can be forbidden to voluntary return and/or a voluntary exchange.

1. Instead of the certificate of medical institution the certificate of ambulance in exceptional cases can be shown. Date of a call of ambulance shall comply with the departure date on the unused ticket.

Refusal of air carriage owing to not passing of passport control because of the passenger or at detection in the course of search of the items forbidden for air carriage on aircraft cannot be classified as involuntary. 

Voluntary return is carried out in case the passenger voluntarily refuses from flight in whole or in part, return is made according to the Conditions of Fare Application in each case.
