Electronic Miscellaneous Document

Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) is the modern decision in the air industry document management.

IATA says that, «Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) is a new industry standard for documentation of sales and for control of all fees collected beyond ticket and airfares (for instance, excess baggage, unaccompanied children, etc.)»

On October 8, 2013 ORENAIR starts issuing Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMD) for Charges for Carriage Refund and Charges for Carriage Changes.

In case the carriage is refunded or changed and if there are charges according to the Rules of Fare Application:

  1. for air tickets issued on the website www.orenair.ru, EMD in which the sum of charges is indicated, will be sent to the e-mail address defined in the order;
  2. for air tickets issued in the authorized ticket offices, EMD in which the sum of charges is indicated, will be printed by the agent on the paper.

EMD is a strict accounting form and can be used to give an account of a business trip.
